According to Lisa Hilary of CSNPhilly, forward Danny Briere will miss the season opener due to a hand injury he sustained while playing for Eisbaren Berlin in Germany.
Hilary broke the news on Twitter.
Danny Briere will not play in Game 1. Wrist injury. Hear from him at 6pm
