- Sean Couturier returned to the lineup on Friday night after missing the last two games with the flu.
- Kimmo Timonen did not play in the third period of Friday night's game due suffering a lower-body injury. Not much is known about what kind of injury or even what the extent of it is. Details will be posted as soon as they are made available.
- Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren announced that Scott Hartnell skated on Friday. Hartnell has been out with a broken foot since January 24.
- Andrej Meszaros (shoulder) returned to practice on Thursday wearing a yellow no-contact jersey.
