After Monday night's frustrating 5-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, it was reported that the Flyers are recalling Harry Zolnierczyk from Adirondack.
The Philadelphia Inquirer's Sam Carchidi reported Zolnierczyk's call back up to the Flyers via Twitter late last night.
Zolnierczyk will be filling in for Sean Couturier according to the Courier Post's Dave Isaac. Couturier has the flu, which caused him to miss Monday night's game.
Couturier has been sent home rather than traveling with the team to Winnipeg for Tuesday night's match-up with the Jets.
Zolnierczyk played 37 games for the Flyers in his NHL debut last season. He put up three goals and three assists for six points.
This season the 25-year old forward has nine goals and eight assists for 17 points, playing in 46 games for the Phantoms in the AHL.
