Lauridsen signed to two-year extension

The Flyers re-signed another one of their restricted free agents on Wednesday in defenseman Oliver Lauridsen.

Lauridsen will be getting a two-year contract extension after the two-year entry level deal he originally signed ended after the 2013 season.

The 24-year old defender made his NHL debut towards the end of the Flyers' disappointing season, thanks to a good bit of injury problems on the blue line.

He played in 15 games, scoring two goals and an assist with an averaged 15:08 of ice time.

He played well defensively since making his debut in a 3-1 home win against the Boston Bruins on March 30, but with nine defenseman already under contract for 2013-14, it is likely that Lauridsen will be spending most, if not all of this upcoming season in the minors with the Adirondack Phantoms.
